Cody Leaves For the Mission Field

Today Cody leaves the MTC and heads to Sunny Southern California! His letters are short but fun to read. He has met challenges and seen his shortcomings and has worked to overcome them and be the very best missionary he can be.

He also writes of little amusing things which are fun to hear. We have learned that all his experience at shopping at the souks (Open Markets) in Morocco did not go to waste. "The Elders on the 4th floor had a necktie exchange last night. Lucky for me none of them knew how to barter!" Unfortunately for us, he did not elaborate on what he got in the exchange. We will ask him and let you know.

He also wanted his brothers-in- law to know that they have done away with the 'community showers'. Kind of a "ha,ha for you guys" moment.

His mission address is posted on the sidebar for those who would like to write him. He says "his heart fills with joy" when he receives letters from family and friends.

We still have not received any pictures from him, but as soon as we do we will post them.
