Yep, it's been a year already
According to Cody, he lost only part of an eyebrow and singed a few hairs. So we'll call this one of his few successes when it comes to playing with fire.

Well....At least he's not as fat....
And what could have brought about the metamorphasis from our cute chubby elder in the last round of pictures? Let's take a look and see, shall we:
...Could have been the hours and hours spent in training meetings...
Sidebar: Had to post a shot of the goofy guy with the weird suit and crazy tie. Are we sure this guy's a missionary?

...Could have been chasing and destroying vicious black widow spiders...
...Could have been a newly discovered talent for the accordian...

...Could have been the mountain climbing...

OH Look! It's the return of CROUCHING CRANE!!!
...Could have been all the wildlife wrangling...

...Might be the extra weight in his backpack lately! Ouch!...
...Whatever it is, it's killing his greenie! Poor Elder Chambers is plum tuckered out!!...
...Could have been chasing and destroying vicious black widow spiders...

Your Guess is as good as Mine
Things have really changed for missionaries in the digital age. I know back when I served my mission, you only took pictures of stuff you really wanted to remember. Of course back then you took the picture, and then had to wait until you had the roll of film developed before you could see how it turned out.
Cody, on the other hand, will send home a memory card with 100-200 pictures and videos on it. Because there are no hard copies, there aren't any captions or explanations. And Cody (being Cody) never writes in his letters about who or what might be in the pictures. Or what might have motivated certain actions. (Seriously what makes someone want to light a box of matches on fire. I so don't get it!)
Up to this point I've always just made up my own captions or put in my own interpretation of what might be happening in the pictures. But this time, I leave it to each of your imaginations. I've selected a handful of photos from the card Cody sent home and so without further ado, I look forward to your comments.
